Blogs are online journals. The blogger can post anything they want for all to see. Many people respond well to writing out their feelings and opinions. They can be very useful in classrooms as a teaching tool.
Teachers can assign topics for the students to write about to help the student work on grammar skills and creative writing skills. This will also allow the teacher to gain insight into the students personality, which will help them when dealing with the student on a daily basis. The blogs will also give the students insight into communicating themselves through their work.
