Podcasts in Education

Pod casts are recordings posted on i-tunes for anyone in the world to listen to. They have the potential to be used very effectively in education as long as students have access to the internet. They provide access to lectures by experts in a certain field. It also allows the students to put their ideas out their for everyone else in the world to see and or hear. Pod casts allow for access to information very easily for students.
Teachers can assign a pod cast for their students to do. The students will work harder on the project if they know that every one in the world will have access to it. It will also make the students proud of themselves in doing something that could possibly be helpful to many people in the world. Teachers can assign students pod casts to listen to since many people learn more from hearing rather than reading. The students might enjoy this more than another form of learning.
